Product DescriptionFrom the grapes of an ancient Nerello Mascalese vineyard, manually cultivated and bush trained on the north side of Etna, at an altitude of 650 meters, this Etna Rosé was born, rich in floral aromas, fruity and spicy, the taste is fresh and fruity, typical expression of volcanic soils. Excellent as an aperitif, with fish broth and fresh cheeses. Serve chilled at 4-6 ° C.

PRODUCTION AREA: Castiglione di Sicilia – Rovitello – District Moscamento.
ALTITUDE AND EXPOSITION: 650m a.m.s.l. on the North-Eastern side of Mount Etna.
CLIMATE: High hills, characterized by a large temperature range.
SOIL TYPE: Volcanic soil, mainly sandy, rich in organic substances.
PLANTING PATERN: 1,25:1,25.
PLAINTING PER HECTARE: 8000.
GRAPES: Nerello Mascalese 80%, Nerello Cappuccio 20%.
BOTTLES PRODUCED: 600.
HARVEST: Manual, around the middle of October.
VINIFICATION: Obtained by bloodletting, with extraction of 10% of the liquid part.
AGEING: 3 months as a result of fermentation in French oak barrels. Not subject to clarification and filtration to preserve the natural features of the wine itself.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14%.
ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES: Pale pink, floral, fruity and spicy, the taste is fresh, fruity and persistent.
IDEAL SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 4° – 6° C.
RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS: Excellent as an aperitif, with fish broth and fresh cheeses.
